I know that I am old and I am not supposed to be playing with dolls. The thing is, I am using a play doug. aka its something that kids use to play with. There is no available colored air clay where I live and, I am so busy with my job I did not have any time to look up for more.
I have not yet looked at polymer clay because, I have the same excuse.

Looking back on my experience (this is the first time that I ever used this!), it was really tricky and frustrating. Nothing sticks up together as they should. Its so hard to do any detail, everything is either falling off (which is why I used a lot of support) and, its not really for a long time thing. Still, I was able to make this and, I am really encouraged to use this more often if not because of the cost, the thought that I have limited space is very much encouraging.
I started with this:
Roll out a piece of clay dough
Trim.
Another play dough tool I got in the kid's section. I love the hearts patters. If you guys are curious, we are making the dress right now.
I would have loved to do more detail on the shoes but, I can't. I am really very upset with how the shoes turned out but, I'll get what I'll get. I am using a dough anyway. I need to remind me of that all the time.
To make the skirt, cut the "cloth" further.....
I detached the head from the body because, everything is falling off.
Another toy from the kid's section. Man, the toy makers are really making a lot of business from me and I do not even have kids of my own!
The white spots detached so, I attached another pair here.....

All done. Its so cute! its a pity I can't keep it. I just want to remind everyone that this is made out of play dough. Any kid out there can make this without supervision. I hope I gave you guys an idea on what to do with your kids when you're playing with modeling clay or play dough.
She is so adorable and I just love that little heart dress :)
