Tips on How to be Successful on Steemit (My Own Version) :)

in steemittips •  7 years ago

So, my friends are asking me how to earn on Steemit. I taught them about the basics on Steemit and when they are already in the platform, they seem to be so overwhelmed and felt lost in the platform and they tend to feel down about it.

That is why I decided to make this post for my friends to be able to read and also, to the other newbies out there who also feel the same way. :)

I am not an expert in the Steemit platform and, I am even still a minnow myself. But, these are just my experiences and how I dealt with it. :)

1.) Make only 1 - 2 posts a day.

The first time I got here on Steemit, the first question I asked to my friends who invited me here is, "How many post should I post in a day?" And then they told me to just post 1-2 posts a day because when you post a lot in one day, people may tend to not notice your posts. And you might just end up feeling disappointed that nobody liked your post. But, it is not really because nobody likes it. It is just that, you have too many posts that they seem to don't have much time to shine.

2.) Interact more.

So, instead of wasting your time trying to post and post a lot, I recommend you to use that time to interact with others. :) Also take time to read other people's posts, make a comment, follow them if you like their contents. Leave a mark in other people's posts and if you do, they will also visit your profile, read, and also give you a follow or, if they like your post and appreciated your comment on their post, they might even give you an upvote or resteem your posts. :)

3.) Join in Games :)

There are a lot of contests and games here in Steemit. For you to also get to know more people, and for people to notice you, one thing to be able to do that is joining in the games/contests. Based on my experience, I really knew a lot of people when I joined in the games and contests. I tend to get more interactions with it. And, not just that, because if you get lucky, you might also win some SBD's with those contests.

4.) Do not think of the earnings.

Yes, I know that what interests you in joining Steemit is because you can earn money here. But I am telling you now. Forget about the earnings. Just enjoy yourself in the platform. Have fun interacting with others. :) Make friends. Make this an avenue for you to be able to express yourself freely. Drop the thought about the earnings and one day, you will just get shocked about the earnings that you will get. :) Think of the earnings like a bonus. :)

5.) Explore and Don't Be Shy To Ask :)

Just try to explore more in the platform. I know there are a lot of things that you need to learn here. But, just explore little by little. Even me, I tend to get so confused because there are a lot of terminologies that I do not understand but, explore and discover. :) And also, do not be shy to ask. :) People on Steemit are really so kind and people here are just so amazing. Steemit is like a family and always help each other. :)

I know this is just a very short tips. But, let's just make it quick and simple so you won't stress yoursefl out. :) Do not lose hope. Just like what they say, "quitters never win". Just steem on! :) :) If you want to reach success, work on it but of course, the most important thing, enjoy yourself while doing it. :)

Shoutout to my friends and to my mom :D :) :) @jillann08 , @acelfaith , @melvz

Thanks a lot @creyestxsa94.:)

Wow, medjo mahaba ang podt pero napaka worth it basahin. Indeed, dapat waglang mawalan ng hope, just enjoy what you're doing and everything else will follow. Nice post @creyestxsa94 :-)

Diba ang sarap sa pakiramdam when you know that a co-steemian read your post kahit gano pa to kahaba :)
Take time to read the author's post because it maybe took him/her half a day, a day or days to finish writing that one :) It feels good to know that someone out there appreciate your post and also spent time to read it no matter how long that post was ☺♥♥♥

Tamaaa!!! :) :)

I hope that your proposal can help more newcomers, and you say a lot, come to @steemit this family, must be more active with others, whether it is to participate in competitions or participate in activities, which is part of the interaction with others, When I came here, I really couldn't think about how low my income was from my own articles. As time went on, I lost my confidence, and I came to @steemit. Most of them would certainly like to make money, forget to make money, and invest in this platform.

Yes so true. :) when you always think about money, for sure, it'll really stress you out. Just drop the thought of earning and just enjoy your stay in Steemit. :) thank for stopping by. :) It's good to see you here :)

The best tip is: DO NOT think of the earnings. 😂 😂 😂

Just WRITE WHAT YOU KNOW. 👍

• Love taking photos? Post it!
• Love cooking? Share us your recipe!
• Love dancing? Singing? Vlog it!
• Love gardening? Blog it!

👍😊😊😊

TAMAAA!!! :D Tumpak ganuuurn ka diyan!!! :) :)

I was also thinking to create a post like this with the same purpose but now I think I don't need to do it anymore. Everything you said here is the same as what I would wanted to tell my friends :) I would like to use this post as my reference if you'll allow me to :) Can I? Please? Thank you very much for this very useful and informative post ♥

Sure.. :) No worries. :) I'll be always glad to help. :)

Thank you ♥♥♥

Great advice! I have met people who say they cannot come up with fresh content every day. Getting involved in games is good.

Yes, same here.. And they tend to give up that easily.. Even me too. I can't even come up with fresh content everyday but there are a lot of contests anywhere that can be a prompt for your post. :)

That is true. We can get ideas. I try to diversify in three or four categories. Things I love!

Thanks for this inputs @creyestsa94.:) Ang hirap naman i spell yung account name mo.:)We have the same month that wee joined in Steemit but yours is already in (48).Job well done!

HAHA! HAHA :D And, by the way, thank yooou. :)

Participate with @surpassinggoogle's projects po @steemgigs @teardrops etc. :)

i couldn't agree more in number 4, at first when i joined steemit i was thinking about the chaching, but as time goes by you'll just realize that what matters most those people who took the time to read your post and reacted to , and that is even more rewarding than the money. this is a very great guide for us not to drown in this vast ocean.

So true. :) when I first got here, I also felt the same way they felt. That feeling of saying, "my goosh! it's so difficult. I can't even get much votes." But yes, I also learned not to think about that at all. :) Just have fun. And look where I am now. :) Didn't even know my reputation score is already 48 now.

:D Oh diba? Edi may bonus! :)

You are on the right track my friend.

HAHA! naks! Salamaat ng marami, my friend. :) :)

Yes, I agree with all these. And with the technical side, the use of bidbots as well.

Pero mas maganda if it's all natural Ang hirap. Feels so much rewarding!

You are exactly right in all of those tips! It's all about making those connections and the rewards will come to you for sure. Thank you for sharing!!! @newbieresteemday @newbiegames and @ifc are just a few great places you can start in on some fun activities...There are so many out there for all. Steem on!!!

Hehe, thank you so much! :)
And yes, I joined in davemccoy's Play for a Newbie challenge before and I won. HAHA :D That was really very fun and now, I'm just out helping other newbies as well. :D :)

This is great advice @creyestxsa94 and especilly the motivation to not give up, in fact NEVER give up!
When we have expectations that are not met, we inevitably experience disappointment.
The best is to tackle life head on, with no expectations and let your life unfold organically.
That doesn't mean we sit idly by, waiting for something to drop out of the sky, we can still move into action, but we are not held to any one expectation.

Yes, that is true. :) Thank you for that very wonderful comment :)

Great tips! You got all the important things covered :)
