Steemit UI Seems to be (much) Quicker

in steemitui •  8 years ago  (edited)

With all the changes we’ve seen by now:

  • The new icons in the pull down menu
  • The larger white spaces at the sides of our posts
  • The Claim button text in our Steem Wallet
  • And for some the HF button int he top level menu
  • Mark down UI in Firefox instead of the WYSIWUG editor

I experience an (enormous) increase in performance of the Steemit UI interface, espacially with Google Chrome (Firefox a little less performance increase, but Chrome is anyway faster than Firefox)

  • The response of the UI when clicking menu items seems to be (much ) quicker.
  • It seems to load the next batches of posts (much) quicker. Am I dreaming, or do you have the same experiences?

I for sure like (most of) the changes!

Do You Have The Same Experiences As I?

It is not a dream @edje! Your observations are quite in order and correct. It might interest you to read my post on steemit UI https://steemit.com/steemit/@maryfavour/who-else-like-the-changes-on-steemit-s-user-interface . Thanks for sharing.

How Cool!

Yes ! Cool changes every day

Obsoletely!

Especially the Speed Increase, I really really love that! That makes browsing through posts/comments/channels so much more enjoyable and actually invites me to go deeper into the channels with the results posts of others are a bit longer visible, to me but I suppose also to others!

Hi @edje, I just stopped back to let you know your post was one of my favourite reads and I included it in my Steemit Ramble. You can read what I wrote about your post here.

How nice! Thank YOU so much in giving me an entry in your top reads!

Yes, a little better and faster than before, but upvotes still take a long time. :)

I actually think upvoting is also a little quicker! but sure, it takes time. For me not an issue at all, since usually I upvote before I start writing the comment. When done with the comment, the upvote for sure succeeded :)

Ah ..ok Thank you :)
