STEEMIT ULTIMATE CHALLENGE(Prize Fund 2000 SBD) WEEK #2

I would be an ungrateful person without expressing my sincere gratitude to steem blockchain, they have no idea how they have touched and imparted so many lives positively.
Back to the purpose of this post. The changes steemit has brought to my life can't be quantified , join me as i take you down this journey of my steemit success story.

LIFE COMMUNICATION
If you know me, then you know i dont give up easily. I am this type of person that is really choosy with people, if you don't know me well you would think i am proud. I have always received these comments and i have sought ways to change but i couldn't. I don't make friends easily but when i do i am really faithful.

I wouldn't say my journey in life had been smooth but still, i give thanks.While growing up i really wanted to belong, i wanted the society to accept me but my expectation wasn't met instead i got a negative opinion of life. I was really young when life showed me a side of it which left a scar in my heart.

It all started when my dad had a concubine,then he had to travel around for business too, so it was just i, my siblings and my mum. we are all girls and the society we live in reads another meaning to this, they believed then that the girl child was of no worth.
My dad wasn't really around then and there was only little my mum could do, she did the best she could then. I wasn't really happy with what was going on at home so i found solace in playing football, i mingled a lot with boys and had few girls as my friend.

An event that changed my life was when i almost got raped on two different occasion by the guys i called friend, after this incident i got withdrawn and created a world of mine. This really affected my interaction and relationship with people, i kept only a handful of people close to me and i treaded carefully.

I kept to myself a lot and one day i started expressing myself using poetry as a tool. it was through poetry writing i got introduced to steemit by @iamsoft007.
When i joined steemit, i felt i should just post and leave but discovered it wasn't all about posting, i had to build relationships. Today, i am a better person and i have made wonderful friends here such as @rebeccafl, @titimac, @ttopswag, @temmy8289, @samest, @jayfamous, @motivatorjoshua, @wardedpoetic, the list is endless.

EDUCATION COMMUNICATION
I got introduced to steemit while on a break from school and i must say, my thirst for knowledge has increased tremendously. I have learnt a lot from steemit, as we all know it is a home for qualitive posts.
I can't help but mention and thank @dorbatim, @greenrun, @overkillcoin, @jaynie, @tzcap, @ehiboss , @ogoowinner, @kneelyrac, @krazykrista, @terrycraft and so much more, from which i have learnt a lot ranging from cryptocurrency to general knowledge and poetry.
I am back in school and at first i had to struggle with combining steemit with schooling but i am all good now, the only issues i have now is bad internet connection. Steemit is a gift which i would forever be grateful for and i hope to pass this gift to others too

FINANCIAL COMMUNICATION
This post would be incomplete without mentioning how steemit has helped financially.
I said earlier about my dad travelling a lot for business trips. Things were going on well financially until one fateful day when my dad was involved in a fatal incident that almost claimed his life.

There was a turn around financially and my mum had to be the breadwinner of the home, i had to start home lessons when at home for each semester break so as to help the family.
It has been a struggle since then but above all i am still grateful. My mum retired from being a teacher last year, my dad almost had stroke too and i have been thinking of ways to generate money. Fortunately, steemit came to the rescue.
I got a laptop through my earnings from steemit for my school project because i am in my finals, i help the family too in the little way i can and i also hope to pay my school fees with steemit and God by my side.
