Ok, let's start this off by stating I know that the BOTS on Steemit are not real people. Duh...right?
Bots have been programmed to do certain things and respond to something detected in the way something is worded.
Nevertheless, when a bot stops by my meager blog I appreciate it. I guess I really appreciate the people, whoever they are that programmed the bot to notice me in some way.
I am not lonely sitting on the edge of my seat, pining away, waiting for a reply but I have found replies from actual humans are few and far between when getting started on Steemit.
I received comments from bots yesterday and they are special to me (sounds sentimental lol).
Below are some of the bots I have met here on Steemit and appreciate:
Comments from @steemitboard are always appreciated. The news has always been good.
@haikubot
It is always good when you stop by to see me, every time I smile.
The first time I saw a response from haikubot I thought someone was teasing an author by mimicking. The 2nd time haikubot showed up was when I intentionally wrote a Haiku. Yesterday I wrote a Haiku by accident but was happy to see Haikubot show up.
@gentlebot showed up yesterday. I went gentlebot's introduce myself page https://steemit.com/introduceyourself/@gentlebot/hello-steemit-i-m-the-gentlebot and found he scours through half a million comments and picks his favorites out. He picked mine which to me is special. He does say on his page "don't expect another one"
@monstersvote stopped by yesterday and liked a Steemmonsters post I did.
I am not posting this to blow my own horn so to speak. I am posting to say THANK YOU to those men and women that program the bots to stop by and say kind things/vote. I very much appreciate bot comments/votes and especially appreciate comments/votes from people here on Steemit.
So, here's a response from a human. I hope I brought you a ☺

I don't blame you at all. Never realized how much I type in Haiku. I am not doing it on purpose. Nice to meet you as well.

By the way, you just participate in the @bananafish haiku contest. @bananafish, @naltedtirt is a natural when it comes to haiku. Connecting you both. 😊
