STEEM is Up Then Down Then Up

No, we're not talking about what STEEM charts are doing at CoinMarketCap.

Witnesses had a rough day Monday, so did Steemit Inc devs. Discord servers were in uproar then got quiet after waiting for a long time for the blockchain to be back up.

There's been talks of secret Slack channel for the elite witnesses during the outage and so much more drama happened. Well, your wallet is safe so we're all good.

Here's the list of top 20 witnesses running version 20. Just 3 are on version 19. I'd say it's a go for HF20.

@arcange has a dandy script warning you of phishing links comments. After the outage, Steemit was unstable while witnesses were getting their nodes up and running.

Please keep your owner key stashed, don't use it to login except to change your password.

Keep your wallet away from phishers. Use a password manager and for that, here's a sound advise from @themarkymark.

Quick Account Recovery Is Possible

It was shock to the blockchain when a phisher got a hold of surfermarly's account.

Three hours after the incident, the real @surfermarly is back in control of her Steemit account.

Phishing incidents are disheartening but it doesn't excuse your post from getting some drama on the comments.

@Vimm is in it's early stages but Steemians are now moving to a new livestreaming service. @Chibera is supporting VimmTV so it's worth checking them out.

If you don't know it yet, DLive is moving to another blockchain.
