For this week, my roommate chose....
Cinnamon, elderberry, myrrh, rusty nails, plastic hearts, fake leaves and some glitter.
Rusty nails in my craft really only means one thing......a curse :D
An openable jar to shove in a taglock to curse the person you want. What curse? Why, a curse to get someone to leave you the heck alone, of course! No matter if they are showing unrequited love that's making you uncomfortable or just being generally pesky, this curse will make it very clear that you've said no and you mean it.
Elderberry - A lovely berry that many people enjoy in tea or similar liquid, but it can be quite bitter. So here it represents bitterness in their lives, whatever that means for them, until they leave you alone.
Myrrh - A complex herb with many associations, used here to make life more complicated for the person that you're cursing until they leave you alone.
Cinnamon - Often used for prosperity spells, so again here used to cut all prosperity out of the person's life until they leave you alone.
A small bottle of glitter - To represent you. The smaller bottle protects you, so that you can't be hurt by these energies just as you will not be hurt by any backlash from the person as you ignore them and/or tell them off.
A plastic heart - To represent their heart. Any romantic feelings and partnerships they have will be affected by all of this doubly so until they leave you alone.
Rusty nails - My favorite curse item, honestly. Sharp objects to both physically and mentally hurt the person until yep, you guessed it, they leave you alone!
Fake leaves - Just as real leaves picked off a flower wilt, so too will they wilt until they leave you alone.
And, of course, a taglock. In this case I wrapped it in the leaves and it's just the name of the person I want to curse in this manner and bam, that's done. If I want them to stop being cursed? Remove the taglock. Want to curse someone else? Recharge the jar and put in another taglock :D
