2 Years on STEEM Blockchain

I'm glad to inform that its been 2 years since I joined Steem. Today I'm celebrating my 2 years completion and in our Steem world, we call it Steemiversary. I'm getting some memories now about my travel so far on Steem Blockchain. It was a fun experience and did get a chance to meet so many new people and learn many new things. As I write this article, I'm getting so many nostalgic memories over my head. I still remember the good old early days when steem used to be over 6$.

Technically as soon as I joined Steem using the Steemit user interface, it took a few weeks for me to understand what Steem was all about. Like everyone else, I was also misled by the trending page. I used to think that there were huge earning opportunities. Later after a few months of struggle, I understood that the blockchain was more than what I thought. There were lots of milking and circle-jerking happening. That is also when I came to know about different communities here on steem. I wanted to be a part of a few communities and started exploring.

Later in my journey, I realized how I can use my technical development skills to use the blockchain to create some cool apps. I was able to develop some discord bots and applications that interact with the blockchain. It was indeed a great journey. I have to definitely mention that I got the opportunity to meet some new friends from all over the world. They were very supportive, thought me so much, learned so many things from me and it was great overall.

The above stats show my strength in this blockchain. There are other websites that can show even better stats about my account but I'm able to see that the contributions I make here are not very enough. I have to spend some quality time here writing quality articles and interacting with people here.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been with me so far in this journey as a mentor as a co-passenger and even as a stranger. I'm not going to make this look like a farewell speech but I will definitely remember and enjoy the moments and I would like to spend many more years in this blockchain and see it grow like anything. One thing that keeps everyone sad is the price of Steem but I'm sure the sun will definitely show bright light in our direction real soon and I will continue to keep my 3 mantras live - Consistency, Persistence, and Determination. This has kept me intact and live for the past 2 years and will still continue to keep it this way in the coming years as well.

For the past 2 months, it has been a long gap and I couldn't spend enough time to write articles here. But I'm sure things will get better soon and I will start writing more than one article per day. For now, I stick with only Splinterlands article every day but I'm sure that will gradually change and I will start to write more. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone and wish good luck to all my fellow passengers in making this 2 years journey a memorable one.
