This is program that always take place every year in higher institutions in Nigeria where students will have to go out massively to beg for money to support the needy in orphanages and some other places students will dress like a crazy person and beg around for money to feed the needy .@davidsams..
this program is always Led by the STUDENT UNION GOVERNMENTS(SUG)...this is currently happening in my college of Education in Ondo state...ADEYEMI COLLEGE OF EDUCATION ONDO NIGERIA....it’s called a RAG DAY...you can also support the needy and less privileges today no amount is Small to support them ...There are blessings in giving

I guess this is supposed to be the real purpose of the rag day. I wasn't comfortable with the idea of rag day, so I didn't partake in any during my school days.
But looking at it from this perspective gives the activity a purpose and is worth doing.
