I'm sick this week. Brain incapicated. But looking at the Steemjet situation from a purely historical perspective, I feel like we need to highlight the New STEEM Beatles

So we will be having a small bounty of $500 in upvotes for whoever makes the mest mbj as elvis (or Elvis as MBJ) picture.

We will have this contest go until June 30 like the rest of the contests.

And we will always do the 50% instant payout on upvote wages/winnings option since it was so successfully reveived by the community.

I want to start highlighting those who are helping Steemjet on a much larger capacity, and be best able to reciprocate. People like @lordjames.

As for today's topic of tech discussion:

Is a lightening network node a fiduciary? Do they have to register kyc, etc? Since we are trusting lighting nodes R Falkvinge mentioned this recently. If this becomes true, then POW (BTC/LTC/VTC via atomic swaps) becomes "regulated" currency. Because this regulated currency prevails in adoption, it opens the door to utility coins like STEEM to thrive, but SMT needs to get coded first. This will help us enter a market with very few competitors, but can we sustain at least todays performance metrics as the network grows? What of this valuable history written here in the pages of steemjet? will the history of steem just be snapshotted away if the blockchain becomes too large. The recent news by the devs that they will always be working on historical preservation while scaling the network, reveals a technical limit to the STEEM platform and that someday the history will have to be chopped off due to the size of the blockchain someday.

Then we would need to make sure that someday there would be a Steemjet space Force member alive and knew that they should upload the steemjet history after the snapshot because maybe in the future, we sill solve the scaling problem. Ethereum is growing its chain under this same premise, that someday, a lightening trusted centralized or POS system will come along and solve our scaling system or else we can only be used as at asset settlement tool and not a fast and frictionless nanotransaction device.

Haha, I had a couple of laughs while doing them.
I'm not sure about the time, probably around 5-10 hours non-stop. I was so immersed in work so I completely forgot about time lol.
Of course, when you do something you better do it with all you've got.

OH yes, i love this the clock hands are minimal, you have an eye for graphic design. I just logged this in my spreadsheet. great color violet/pink, just amazingly wonderful. I only get one out of 100 now that inspire me like this. I just might become more discerning and keep this contest open. Your rendition is truly inspiring to me. You have effectively implied jogreh's clock.

Check this out, you have 3 clock hands the 12, 3, and the second hand which is the steemjet chemtrail.

Is there a way that you could either darken the ..... no I think you got it correct.

I was thinking that you could make the chemtrail a clock hand since that is the shape of the clock handsor integrate this more, but if you made it black then it would be ....

what if you removed one hand and made the chemtrail black and made that a hand that went up at the same angle, then the other hand instead of pointing to 12 could point at a right angle a little left. This way you could get rid of the hand pointing to 3.

Ah, that's another cool element, the pink line blending into the clock, now just make the chemtrail black, or just make the clock hand that is pointing to the 3 cover up the chemtrail and extend its length.

This is the missing link that was keeping the "time" element from being too abstract.

Jogreh's minilal is abstract.

Thank you very much @dimimp, I'm really glad to be part of this and work with you. I have a very high interest in communities and I'm looking at how Hf20, Hivemind and SMT will help in skyrocketing these ideas.

But I spoke with a friend of mind who has a more technical knowledge of the Steem blockchain, he mentioned that Steemit is broken at the moment due to this lack of community challenge couple with the lack of instant registration. We hope that HF20 will fix that, else it will be quite difficult to make it above the 1 million users.

The challenge with 50% payout is that it reduce the voting power and does not bring in ROI in terms of Curation. But then too, payment by upvotes have it's challenges as the prize is paid from the reward pool of the entire community. We'll need to take a closer look at how this issues can be resolved.
I'm just leaving bed and I hope to take much more time to discuss the above with the community later. Thank you all and get well soon @dimimp.

Well with the upvotes there was some return on investment to you. For instance if you are to pay someone $1000 through upvotes, you earned roughly $250 in Curation reward but that we don't have with the 50/50.

The issue with registration is what HF20 really aim to solve I think with some form of automated registration. Like me I pay for my accounts registration with some delegation (which is not actually paying as the money is still in your accounts), but most of the people want things free so, Steemit Inc will have to solve that in order to bring in the crowd. But with the crowd comes the issue of multiple spam accounts. I once heard someone bragged he has 128 accounts, that's because it's free. I am a curator so I see the big challenge with these multiple spamming accounts.

The names are silly (like dimimp), but I think I still have the master keys. I got accounts for my friends and family, and now have many leftovers just sitting there unused.

Maybe we can ask the community. I had no idea that it took weeks to get an account!

Well, @lordjames this is not a bad idea anyway. I've seen your point, The spamming and all that... Yeah, there can't be a much better solution to handle this situation but I hope steemit Inc. Comes up with one.

For the steemjet community the 50% liquid steem payout has helped to build the community in a way we could never imagine. The community is now growing exponentially as we are having influx of great multiple designs from multiple ideas and multiple talents. The 50% steem made a friend to tell a friend about the steemjet community. So it's good because when SMT, HF20 and EOS etc will be integrated. The steemjet community is going to come out to be one of the best filled with superstars.
They will come a time that everyone on steemit will one to be a member of the steemjet community. Trust me we can do this

I thought that rate limited transactions of steem were supposed to prevent spam? I thought that STEEM was spam proof because of this? Can't they just raise the time limit between posts? I don't know this issue. But if we have a problem then we need to find a way to fix it or to help the developers find a solution.

Why does someone have to wait for registration? I thought that you could just purchase a steem account from one of the witnesses automatic registration site.

You pay steem, you get the keys sent to you. Yes this causes a delay, but what other coin with limited available real estate (easy to remember steem account names) allows spamming of the best and most easy to remember account names. Pascal Coin makes you purchase their accounts. This is necessary to eliminate spam that could bloat the chain. All chains with customizable addresses have this issue. Bitcoin does not have this issue because the account names are mostly gibberish like: fusihfir7834fh43h87h78g78g6T7G76FG6ihyg

Yea Sir, I totally agree with you.
Looking at the entries we've had over the past 2weeks, I won't be wrong to say that we have many amazing talents in the Steemjet community.
All thanks to you Sir @dimimp for creating this great platform for everyone to exhibit their special gifts here.
Maybe we should develop a method whereby competitions duration will be in a month or less and limits of the number of entries per participants should be stated in order to prevent your comment box from looking crappy due to multiple entries.

Your reward program is...unique actually. Never seen that before....
I mentioned in a previous post of yours that i d like to contribute,but since I ain’t a designer but mainly a writer I don’t know how...if you could enlighten me here...
As for the verifications...yeah. I think that at a point regulations need to happen if we want crypto to make one step further. This war governments and people who are just fine with the current economic model,won’t stop.
So,i assume it will make things a bit easier but we ll lose the privilege of anonymity.

I'm kidding of course, but this is a community effort. Yes, I "wrote" it but technically, it would never had happened had the Steemjet Spaceforce not inspired me to write it. We can chat. I am a great idea man and a great proofreader, but I have never written anything of great cohesive length/depth. Between the 2 of us, I am sure that we could come up with something effective to a greater audience than what we currently have.

I am sending lordjames an email account that he can leak to you via discord or slack or some other chat channel where the words scroll off the page and most everyone only cares about the current chat topic. He knows more tech stuff than me, and he is currently the only one here I communicate with offline. I will get on discord eventually, but I am booked for 2 weeks straight.

This is the long term goal, and our crown jewel, we wil support you, and you can monetize your efforts however you wish! I want to get to this point but you see we are neck deep in other stuff. But as soon as the book is finished, please let me know what you think. I am having to delegate more of my curating responsibility so that I can work directly with artists like yourself. This is where I am most effective.

Look for this initiative in the future and it will show how we plan to support/compensate
