I have an Idea. I think the best time for you to delegate steem power is when all the contest are over. You will post a list of the names of the people on the payroll won the contest and the total amount they are to receive. I am designing and app to help the steemjet community in the secretarial works. Will be done next month or so.
Now when the contest are all over you will pay off those who wants the 50% liquid steem and then the ones who wants to be paid in upvotes will still be on the list for upvotes.
Four selected and trusted/hardworking members (say dim board of trustees) will receive some steem power in delegation and the list will be divided into four different parts. Each of those delegate will face a responsibility of upvoting winners on his/her own list till the payment is completely complete and must keep the records in the format you have been doing to update people about their paid/owe amount. That way will be much more faster and we can move on to more contest that will promote steem to be globally adopted.
AS FOR THE DELEGATION, I SINCERELY VOLUNTEER😁😁😁

If that is done. It would be unfair to some people who weren't on board from the beginning.... Its simply bringing the singularity complex into play because not only will regulars be left-out but others will be sidelined.
So delegating steempower to the most four proficient contributors is wrong and shouldn't be so. Everyone on steemjet deserves to be heard. Lets not sideline the responsibility to oldcomers alone.
I like your idea but it won't really help.....
Just as @dimimp has said, tell him why you need it and what you can do with it and how you will do it and he will delegate.

brother to me. giving dsp out to more knowledgeable steemjetters will aid quick response to new members coming on board. the dsp is to all and sundry for those who cant be reached and welcomed by @dimimp, this will reduce the rate at which those using the steemjet tag , dont rec a visit by @dimimp himself. like you read for one month now he hasnt visited those using the steemjet tag and this shouldnt be so

I totally agree with you. We can't just pick delegates because we've partcipated longer in the affairs of the community. It would be unfair to new members, who might be more credible when it comes to the task.
Frankly, i think choosing the four delegates should be put out by votes;let everyone have a say of whom they would like.

Oh, I think I see what you mean, yeah, delegates are going to be awarded work based on their performance, and compete as we grow just like the steem witness model. Free market competition Darwin dog eat dog models seem to work in nature, as this model has achieved global adoption which is what we are after, and immitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

And I think that the gist of his idea is that we can have different targets for different delegates. Some make sure that contest winners dont feel left out while others make sure that newbies don't feel left out, while others dig for gems, while others maintain our core, etc...

Well said @dimimp. for me voting is a total "NO" in this case just like @ubongj said. you know the fore-runners of this project just as I and some few others. The reason why so many people took the 50% buy out offer was becasue I was having too much fun upvoting new arrivals and it was taking too long so they got impatient and took the option that did not give them as much as they could have won. This way, they will be receiving upvote prizes immediately AND consistantly.
I think it was the unknown of prize winners not knowing WHEN their next upvote would arrive, and that was my fault completely and the MAIN reason why I need these delegates to help.

Space Force Hostess @mhizsophie did on like the very first day that was posted. She tried to tell you how valuable my time was, but you wanted the payout. Now I am not ignoring anyone, rather I am guaranteeing YOUR satisfaction with YOUR Steemjet EXPERIENCE. Steemjet needs to distribute as much steem globally as humanly ppossible in the shortest abount of time known to man by law (nature's laws). The only problem I am having with is that some people who entered the contest that hasn't ended yet keeps requesting for payout. I try to calm them down and explain things to them then go to their blog to steembath them.
Some keeps repeating the same thing and I keep steembathing but it seems they are so impatient and want the contest to end already
Maybe if some of the contest are ended it will calm them down as they receive their steem but I will never stop cooling them off with steembath.
Everyone deserves to be happy and I want that to exist on steemjet
