It's a beautiful weekend over here and together with the art department we've had a busy weekend going through all the entries submitted for the Steemjet Gold Bling art contest. As directed by @dimimp to judge the Gold Contest with a prize pool of 3000 liquid Steem. I had decided that 5 winners will be selected in the first class category for 200 Steem each. 10 winners will be selected in the second category for 100 Steem each. And since on Steemjet everyone is a winner, the remaining 1000 Steem will be shared to all participants for the contest. Now the result. In choosing the winners, I look beyond just the designs, I also look at the message your art is presenting to the world.

At first I didn't want to include @mbj entry in the winning category as he already won the time contest. But since I couldn't get another entry to beat his, I have to give it to him. It's a classic design and the Steemjet perfectly engraved into the gold bar.

Let's crown Steem with a crown of gold. Most arts are still in the present time when Bitcoin wears the crown but @geyzee looked beyond the present into the future where with global adoption of Steem, Steemjet will one day earn the crown for Steem. Lesson: look beyond the present.

If your entry was not selected as a winning art, it does not mean that you had an inferior design. Every entry was great in its own definition, I had to choose winners and I have my personal taste.
