June 5th around the world, is observed as World Environment Day, as experienced couple of days back. It is one of the key factors through which United Nations Organisation (UNO) augment worldwide awareness of the environment and enhances political attention and action. The event also calls to mind issues relating to climate change and atmospheric pollution that imperil the earth as we know it. The United Nations set the day aside to seek ways of promoting and improving the Earth’s environment, such as conserving forests, and making our environment pleasant and disease free (hygienic). Environment Day is celebrated in many ways in most countries through activities that include street rallies and parades, as well as concerts, tree planting and clean-up campaigns. In many countries, this annual event is used to attract political attention and action towards improving the environment. This observance also provides an opportunity to sign or ratify international environmental conventions. World Environment Day was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1972 to mark the opening of the Stockholm Conference on the Human Environment.
Why are my saying all these? Well, few days back while checking on a colleague of mine, i experienced a very devastating situations and i won't lie, i almost shed tears seeing what i saw that very day. People are really suffering, living unhygienically.
"The happiness of society is the end of government"
The government are suppose to be there for it peoples happiness but reverse is the case here. For those that don't know Nigeria so well, read about Nigeria here there you will know how endowed we are with numerous natural resources but due to the lack of efficient leaders, they are all misused for their selfish inetrest. Imagine a country where the minimum wage is 18 thousand naira (35 stee) and a world cup jersey is sold at 41 thousand naira (80 steem), double of minimum wage Which is so ridiculous. Our government careless about it citizens rather, they are there to loot funds in their personal pockets.
LOCATION ; KADO KUCHI, FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY, ABUJA.
This is ap community that is centred within the central city of Abuja. It's very close to all the developed cities in Abuja like Maitama, Asokoro, Kado estate, Gwarinpa, Appo, Bannex, Wuse, Garki, Wuse II e.t.c Kado kuchi is so flooded because its very close for anyone to navigate their ways from there to any other part of Abuja without having to spend much on transportation. This is Kado Kuchi Despite the poor condition of the community, landed properties are so expensive because of our politicians. There are so many landed properties like real estates, quarters, lands, malls that have been there for so long without anybody to occupy it just to fulfil their selfish interest while there are lots of homeless graduates, individuals roaming and sleeping on the street. Seeing all these happening around me saddens my heart because i'm no different from them and not that i have all it takes to wipe away their tears or to make a difference. Below is the picture of a youth corp member found sleeping on the street of Abuja due to lack of accomodation while serving his father land during the NYSC (National Youth Service Corp). What a disgrace, a big shame on Nigeria seeing a graduate sleeping on the street while trying to obey the clarion call Click here to read on the corper sleeping on the street during his NYSC here
AIM OF THIS PROJECT
The aim of this project is to make sure the people living in the community have access to a decent road, good water, pleasant environment, good drainage system, good disposal of trash bin and above all, to empower the youth in the community through steemit account with the help of @steemjet initiated by @dimimp. There is a saying here in africa and i so much love it, which goes like this; "teach me how to fish instead of giving me fish everyday" because there shall be a day where you may not be able to meet up with their needs regardless of their expectations. The best we all can do as human is to try our best and teach them how to be free and learn how earn some cash for their selves and i believe, with this little plan, there shall little uplift in the community too.
THESE ARE THE PICTURES AS DISCUSSED ABOVE
THE SELECTED PROJECT ARE DISCUSSED BELOW
● GABBAGE DUMPING
The project as pictured above, i don't think it could be addressed at once due to funds and sponsors but why not, if we have Sponsors and support from from people. I would be delighted if all these wrongs are corrected for the poor masses to have a good life atleast and be happy.
"The effects of environment on health are seen most vividly in the deaths of children. ... The health problems we face are mental illness, heart disease, cancer and diabetes - not illnesses normally attributed to dirty water or inadequate housing, but the environment does cause health and disease in Britain."
Waste that is not properly managed, especially excreta and other liquid and solid waste from households and the community, are a serious health hazard and lead to the spread of infectious diseases. Unattended waste lying around attracts flies, rats, and other creatures that in turn spread disease. Normally it is the wet waste that decomposes and releases a bad odour. This leads to unhygienic conditions and thereby to a rise in the health problems. The plague outbreak in Surat is a good example of a city suffering due to the callous attitude of the local body in maintaining cleanliness in the city. Plastic waste is another cause for ill health. Thus excessive solid waste that is generated should be controlled by taking certain preventive measures.
Impacts of solid waste on health
The group at risk from the unscientific disposal of solid waste include – the population in areas where there is no proper waste disposal method, especially the pre-school children; waste workers; and workers in facilities producing toxic and infectious material. Other high-risk group include population living close to a waste dump and those, whose water supply has become contaminated either due to waste dumping or leakage from landfill sites. Uncollected solid waste also increases risk of injury, and infection.
In particular, organic domestic waste poses a serious threat, since they ferment, creating conditions favourable to the survival and growth of microbial pathogens. Direct handling of solid waste can result in various types of infectious and chronic diseases with the waste workers and the rag pickers being the most vulnerable.
Exposure to hazardous waste can affect human health, children being more vulnerable to these pollutants. In fact, direct exposure can lead to diseases through chemical exposure as the release of chemical waste into the environment leads to chemical poisoning. Many studies have been carried out in various parts of the world to establish a connection between health and hazardous waste.
Waste treatment and disposal sites can also create health hazards for the neighbourhood. Improperly operated incineration plants cause air pollution and improperly managed and designed landfills attract all types of insects and rodents that spread disease. Ideally these sites should be located at a safe distance from all human settlement. Landfill sites should be well lined and walled to ensure that there is no leakage into the nearby ground water sources.
MY PROPOSE SOLUTION
First of all, for a waste disposal sites to be a school is not hygeinic at all. It exposes the student and even the teachers to all sort of iillnesses and diseases. The odour won't even let the children to concentrate while having a lectures. So therefore;
●The land has to be cleared
●The land has to be treated and fumigated
●The needs to be kept clean
●Then, provision of waste collector

● *THE SELECTED ROAD/PATHWAYS
This particular road is one of the major pathways for people passing along to their various houses living within the community. It is so bad that i had to tip toe while passing by because of the nature of it, so rough and water logged. I feel for people who had to experience that everyday while trying meet up with their ends meet. It is more worse during the rainy reason than you see it in the picture.
I spoke with engineer that is going to handle to handle the road and the drainages as well, i has to explain to him how i need the work to be done. He was more excited to hear that their road is going to get better, at first, seeing my colleague (derick45) and i taking the pictures, they thought we are government officials not knowing we are @steemit family known as steemians, credit to @ned, @dan and other good individuals on steemit for the opportunities to make a difference in community or society.
THE QUOTATIONS..........................2 ......... (STEEM AT 450NAIRA/1)

WHY SHOULD I BE TRUSTED?
I have done some charity project which came out successful and fun. It a left a remarkable imprint in my colleagues and i that day and i was so proud of leaving a smile on their faces. Below are the links to my previous project.

I have done it before even when i was still new to the system without any issues or trouble let alone now that i am known everywhere in the Nigerian community and outside the community on the steemit social platform, my reputation is stake and i don't joke with that as it is my credit score, my name and my legacy on steemit. My name is my identity and my identity is my legacy that i have to protect my all means.
PROMOTING STEEMJET TO THE COMMUNITY TO GET ENRICHED AND BETTER THEIR STANDARD OF LIVING AND REDUCING UNEMPLOYMENT RATE WITHIN THE YOUTH OF KADO KUCHI
I have gotten a better plan to promote steemit to the people through the projection of @steemjet to adapting steem. I have introduced few people to steemit and they like the ideology behind it. There upto 4 football fields in kado kuchi that is always field up with the youth watching a football game there and a bar joint known as "Forest." With these locations stated above, it would be an easy target for me to get people adopting steem after seeing the perfect execution of these project through the help steemit. There are descent ladies out here that tends to be disrespecting their bodies in order to earn a living for theirselves for them to feed their family or meet up with their needs. Everyday i see pretty young ladies begging for stipends just to buy theirself something they deserve, which is very bad and disgusting because men will always see that as an opportunity to demand for sex.
Having said that, i have put in place a strategy to get the attention of the populations by emulating the followings;
●POSTERS
Printing a simple poster promoting steemit as the new generation of the social media platform that enables them to earn money while blogging, vlogging, posting and doing all sort of social activities that earns them money online and pasting it everywhere necessary for them to see. Doing this would be easier for people to register on steemit.
●HAND BILLS
Printing of hand bill is never a bad idea in promoting steemit to the world. There are some locations that posters won't reach but with the help of handbill, people are going to know to know what steemit is all about. It will be shared to every locations in that community.
●VISITING SCHOOLS
This visitations shall be done by holding an essay competition on "The importance of hygienic enviromment in our society" and the best student shall be rewarded with some token powered by @steemjet, by so doing, the parent will even know more about @steemit and @steemjet and their plans to reduce poverty and help humanity.
●PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM (PAS)
This will be needed also in promoting steemit in the community in order to be heard well and sound. There is no joke when it comes to promoting the steem blockchain and it importance to my people to adopt the new technology of the new generation of social media platform called @steemit.
With these little strategy stated, i know i would be able register more people to the steem blockchain.
LETTER TO @DIMIMP THE FOUNDER OF @STEEMJET
First of all, i would like to appreciate your effort for all you have been doing in promoting steem blockchain to the world, Africa especially and to Nigeria to precise be precise. If only you know how many people you have helped through this platform with the initiative of @steemjet, there are many youth on this platform that are graduate but unemployed because of the ways things are in our country but vowed not to be a criminal or scammer and my self included.
I would be grateful if you can support this course ans see people happy and smiling because of you.
This design implies no matter the weather condition out there, @steemjet must fly without being interrupted
LETTER TO @SIRCORK THE FOUNDER OF @YOUAREHOPE FOUNDATION
I just don't know where to start from, you have been a wonderful friend, mentor and a hero to me
with all you have done to put a smile on so many faces here in Africa over and over again, i just want to say thank you for everything.
LETTER @SURFYOGI THE FOUNDER OF @WAFRICA
You have been a mentor to me over and over again since i have known you on platform and seeing what you have been doing to help Africans grow and stay relevant on the steem blockchain makes me to love you more.
To people like @swissclive/ @acidyo/ @xyle/ @dan/ @ned/ @berniesanders/ @liondani/ @dobartim/ @ejemai/ @ackza/ @greenman/ @tojukaka/ @jaynie/ @adsactly.
We cannot provide the entire amount, but we do want to help. As per our direct messages, YouAreHOPE will donate $200 SBD toward this cause, with a preference that the money be used on the longer term road repairs if possible, though the waste removal is a big deal too. We feel the waste can be removed over time, with free manual labor, but the roads require more immediate assistance for emergency access and better access to and from the village for improved opportunities of all types.
Please check your wallet for the funding in a few moment and we look forward to the full report as usual, with regards to the success of the mission and the application of the YouAreHOPE community's doner's funds!
Good luck, and God speed!

Thank you for providing us with 200SBD. It is a joyful thing for wanting to see the people happy, smile and leave happily. I shall be keeping you updated on the project. However, it may be a little bit slow due to funding, I am working on what I can raise before embarking on the project because I wouldn't want it done halfway.
On behalf of "the Kado kuchi youth community " I say thank you to @youarehope foundation @sircork being the founder.

TY!
I am finally home from my trip. Let me look into YAH's current funding level and talk with my team about what we can do. It will be something, but I already know at a glance that we cannot cover your goals.
Perhaps we should discuss what will happen with funding if these large goals are not met, and only partial funding is available for one of the projects here.
Now that I am back on the ground and in the office this week, let's sort that out soon and we will see what can be done.
Good coverage!

First and foremost, I am very glad you back home from your trip safely and about the project, thank you for giving it a consideration, despite it largeness. But believe me, I just couldn't help but to publish this article and there are even more worse situation happening in that community than these, I know we ain't government and really appreciate your empathy over people like these especially down here in Africa, you don't know how many lives you have touched and changed for good. Thank you for everything.
I am looking forward to you and your teams feedback.
