STEEMLAGOS HANGOUT WAS LIT! STEEM TO THE SKIES!!

Steem to the skies!
I joined steemit less than a month ago and i was surprised that a platform of this scale exists, the experience has been a rollercoaster, from being exhilarated by a community of brilliant chaps to being overwhelmed by the same reason, a community of brilliant chaps having as similar and different interest as possible, every one inclined to a different niche, genre but linked together and part of one community.

So I was definitely interested when I learnt about the Steemlagos meet up planned by @oluwoleolaide. it was a good opportunity to relate with other steemians on another level not just virtually.

Saturday was a memorable day, there was heavy rain in lagos consecutively for a week and saturday was no exception. it rained everywhere in lagos and the roads were flooded.

But that did not deter us from having the meetup. i had plans of going for the Steemlagos meetup with friends @epikcoin and @purplerabbit but because I had another appoinment close to the meetup venue i left home alone and I got to the meetup venue early and I had enough time to walk around, snap pictures and window shop.

I met with @epikcoin and @purplerabbit when it was time and we headed to the meetup venue, Beerhugz at Ikeja City Mall, we met our host @oluwoleolaide and @peman there.The location was nice, atmosphere was perfect and good vibes in the air. We were later joined by @gbenga @rshunter @sammie85 @harbysco.

There was not a dull moment, we kicked off immediately, we talked about everything,steemit, steemian, steemit hierarchy, the golden rules, our friends in common, plans for steemit in Nigeria and how to grow individually and as a group. It was pure synergy, we all had ideas to share, opinion about the ideas, a better way to go about the it, we brainstormed, shared jokes, took pictures.

There was enough asun (spiced goat meat) and drinks to go around, special thanks to our host @oluwoleolaide. It was a trailerload of fun and i gained new friends. The goal of steemit realized again, connecting people, across towns, country and different continent.
