SteemLeo UI Leaps Forward

If you read my blog, you probably know I like and use SteemPeak often.

I am also not familiar with all tribe interfaces.

But one interface that definitely stands out is SteemLeo.

When tribes started, they all began with the basic Nitrous code, a replica of the condenser, the code behind steemit.com.

But since then, some user interfaces evolved while others didn't, or not as much.

I don't recall exactly the date when LEO was created and when the tribe came to life, but it wasn't right out the gate when Palnet showed everyone what's possible. So it had less time to grow.

Let's look at SteemLeo interface today.

First of all, I remark an impressive improvement of the user experience. I used SteemLeo some time ago and it was slower, the UX suffered. But I read in an update that they changed the server to a better one, and the results are visible: a much faster website.

The most important addition to SteemLeo is the DEX front-end for certain Steem-Engine tokens. That is the only DEX front-end for Steem-Engine so far, besides the steem-engine.com website.

SteemLeo DEX has a neat and fast interface, with several unique benefits which you can't find on the steem-engine.com website yet (although I saw at Steem-Engine's presentation from SteemFest, that they will have an updated interface soon).

Here they are:

  • showing delegated stake as well in your wallet
  • the possibility to hide zero balance tokens you have in your wallet
  • showing an estimated total value of your account in USD, STEEM and LEO
  • the option to claim all pending rewards at once
  • the possibility to see all your open orders, without going to the market for individual tokens to check it

There are significant changes on the Tribe interface as well.

I remember it wasn't so long ago when they added the ticker crawl and left side widget from TradingView.com. They also added at the same time information about LEO and its miners on the right side, including burning and staking percents.

They have ads activated on the website, and I remember reading that they use that income flow to buy and then burn LEO tokens.

One thing that I enjoy seeing is that they have a Guide to SteemLeo link on the right side menu, a great way to welcome new members to the tribe.

We can also find community guidelines on the same menu and an update log much like on steemit.com a little below, with the latest updates from the team.

And something I almost missed was the Dashboard page. You can go to it from the menu at the top. Here's how it looks like:

It's great to see such developments well targeted for the niche of the tribe and quickly released. Now I'm curious what will SteemLeo do about Hivemind Communities... Will there be a matching community?
