Hey!
It's been two years when my preferred crypto-exchange Binance first came into existence.
In those days, I was as new to cryptocurrencies as Binance. With time, both of us have grown up 😜
Well, can't say so much about Binance as its Founder and CEO was a CTO of another large crypto Exchange called OKEX. So yes, he wasn't a newbie to this field.
But it was just a beginning of my life in the field of cryptocurrencies. And the way to begin it was to open up an account in some cryptocurrency Exchange and invest some money in it. Well, that's how I was told to do by a close friend. And he suggested me to open an account with Poloniex, the largest Exchange in those days.
However, for some reasons, I chose to go against both of these choices. First, I don't wanted to deal with any Indian crypto Exchange ...ZebPay was the only established one I knew of. Second, I didn't want to invest any INR for crypto ...as I didn't had any 😉. And finally, I didn't like the poor customer service offered by Poloniex as that was too bad according to online reviews and testimony of my friend. Thus I dropped the plan!
And then somehow I stumbled upon Steemit. Since then STEEM became the defining factor for everything crypto to me. I won't open my account to any crypto Exchange where STEEM was not listed. Exchanges like Poloniex and HitBTC had suspended STEEM wallet on their Exchanges, so it was an easy choice to ignore these.
These made me start my crypto journey on Bittrex. But its customer service and User Interface wasn't any satisfactory. So I limited my dealings with them. I didn't know of any other Exchange with STEEM on it. So I used to Exchange my STEEM to ETH with the help of Blocktrades and transfer it to my MEW wallet. I used it for taking part in some ICOs or buying ERC-20 coins from DEXes.
Then one fine day, someone told me about Binance. When I checked it, I liked its User Interface as it was very comfortable to me. Later I found its Android app was also very fast and convenient to use. So Binance became the first crypto Exchange where I opened my account without STEEM being listed there. And soon I fell in love with it.
Then in February, 2018, Binance listed STEEM too, making my life easier than ever.
In last couple of years, Binance has never disappointed me on any front. It provides an issue-less service. Volume, transaction speed, fee and charges, Mainnet swaps, airdrop distribution, everything is just awesome.
When BNB was introduced, I did buy some to avail the discount in its trading fee. But never did I imagined that it will perform this brilliantly. The returns on BNB beat BTC even in the bear market!
Proactively dealing with hacking attempts and taking on huge loses in an event of an hack proves the underlying ethics and its core philosophy of "customer-first".
Recent introduction of IEOs, Binance Chain, DEX, Margin Trading etc. makes me even more happy.
The frequent communication and interaction by its charismatic CEO CZ makes me feel at home with this Exchange.
I used to be in awe when watching its meteoric rise in a short time. But if I see the reasons and efforts gone behind all that, I feel Binance deserves much more.
On its 2nd anniversary today, I wish Binance, its team and whole Binance community a great future ahead!
Keep evolving! We're with you!
P.S.:
Here's a birthday gift for you from Binance. Just wish them a "Happy Birthday, Binance!" on their Telegram:
