I've been a supporter of equal rights for as far back as I can remember. On all fronts!
So, why should we live in fear of witches? Why should we abolish any citizens right to be able to settle their differences by way of their birthright to settling a feud by consenting to a duel? How will progress be made in our society if we continue to deny ourselves these basic fundamental perks?
Myself, I've approached the local city police to ask about whether or not I would be liable for any criminal charges in the event of anyone calling in a complaint involving consenting adults in kendo practice. Turns out that hasn't been illegal since ever, so why would we want to prevent people from duelling out their differences?
And just who said witches were always ugly, and not capable of holding high social esteem? I say! Some of the witches I know are potentially the most beautiful individuals I know! And this impression is not affected by the result of some charm spell, in spite of the enhanced levels of intrigue I carry for spiritually attuned, and 'magical' women.
So, as a way of helping to dissolve the tension that alot of people have carried towards this demographic. And as a way of allowing people to settle their personal differences outside the courts. They have officially declared to legalize Witch Craft and Duelling.
