These posts are meant to help beginning players construct teams to achieve their daily quest goals, while not requiring too much in the way of card investment. Out of recognition that Epics are really useful in this context, and not too difficult to get, we've included each splinter's Rares and Epics even though they aren't included in the starter pack. We exclude Legendaries and Epic Summoners, and use only neutrals that are in the starter pack.
These teams are meant to be functional to achieve ten victories in a reasonable amount of time. Daily quests don't require winning all the time, or even most of the time, but merely to get to ten wins total. The nature of a level 1 team is that it won't always win, but these teams will win often enough to complete your quest and get your reward pack. Once you've accumulated a few reward packs you can move on to building stronger teams.

Today's ruleset features a very small 15 mana, and disallows Neutral monsters. The most difficult Splinters to win with in this challenge are Water and Life, and you may find it worth changing quests if you receive one of those.

Water: Alric Stormbringer, Spineback Turtle, Mischievous Mermaid, Pirate Captain
Earth: Lyanna Natura, Stonesplitter Orc, Goblin Sorcerer, Earth Elemental

Death: Zintar Mortalis, Haunted Spirit, Haunted Spider, Twisted Jester

Fire also works with Cerberus, Serpentine Soldier and Fire Beetle.
There are probably a few combinations that do the trick, depending who you're battling against.
