Am I the only one who notices strange parallels between this "lore" and our everyday world? Hundreds of Goblin scientists (and civilians) have been lost in the pursuit of this amazing tool of Goblin Power." this appears to me to be referencing dimethyltryptamine otherwise known as DMT, which as you may know is a psychedellic compound. a breakthrough in regards to DMT is a powerful out of body experience that has the power to both help and hurt (just like a tool) your mental, although it usually leans towards helping, another thing that ties this together more then one coincidence is"The greatest known example of a Chemmy explosion is the time in 862 when the mysterious pink ooze that seeped from the Fissure of Bofu collided with the waters of the River of Power.
