Well, for one it supports the game makers and raises funds for the development of the game, which is in all of our interests. Also the kickstarter packages are better value overall, compared with buying single packs, after throwing in all the bonuses. 😉

I purchased starter pack and 100 alpha booster packs. My main motivation was fact that I believe that Steem in really underwaluated and Steem Monsters can bring many new people to our blockchain. So I converted my Ethereum to Steem and then to packs to support the project :)

2 - If so how many packs of @steemmonsters have your purchased. I think about 300
3 - What drove you to purchase your first pack? Plain excitement from the announcement and some liquid Steem. It sort of hurt to spend Steem but then I saw the cards and it suddenly felt great :') (Later spend more FIAT though haha. Steem Monsters is actually a great way to turn FIAT into STEEM.)

about 200+ including the fundition pledge. The first one was a long time ago, when @steemmonsters was new and I found the concept/artwork to be exciting and promising.

I think everybody interested in this contest have at least bought the starter pack...
But that´is not enough and we all know that, incredibly I have only bought 35 packs (Alpha), but I've opened a lot more.
Buying packs was one of the easiest decision I've had to make here on Steemit, the game has potential and it is a future investment, but most importantly I'll be able to play for money every week/month.
