Card Change Updates

I share some price changes on individual cards, but if you'd like to see the price change over a period of time for certain cards let me know in the comments below. I have about 3 months of information containing 11 data points (information from 11 days over that 3 month period), so it's getting easier to see trends in price movement and see which cards are being bought up fastest.

If anyone is interested I may start selling my spreadsheet for a 1-time fee of what I have currently, or for a monthly fee so you can have access to every update that is made for that month (which would be about 3 or 4 a month depending on how many subscribers I have). Another option would be just to provide it to those who continually support these type posts with upvotes as well.

Anyways, if you're interested or can help me automate gathering the data it would be greatly appreciated. Right now it takes a lot of time to gather this data manually and doesn't leave me much time to dig through it and create as high of quality posts as I'd like, so any support as of this time would be greatly appreciated.

Booster Packs

Alpha Packs $3.08 EV

Looks like the value of the Alpha Booster pack continues to climb. The time I first ran the numbers the packs were worth about $2.37, then to $2.71, and now to about $3.08. I think that averages out to about a 10% increase per month for the past 3 or so months (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

If you look at the spreadsheet above I feel like this has been a healthy increase in the price of cards due to the increasingly rare nature of these cards. The value of foils have risen across all rarities and even the regular, non-foil, cards have seen a significant increase in value, aside from the commons.

Above is the graph that shows the value change of the card value today, from the first time I started collecting data on 3/12/2019. What's not surprising to me is that the summoners have seen some of the top increases in the "rare" category. My prediction from 3 month ago continues to hold true as Alpha Summoners continuing to rise in price with the exception of Zintar Mortalis.

Beta Packs $1.61 EV

Beta Packs have started to see an increase going from $1.52, to $1.62, and finally $1.61. With over 300,000 Beta Packs remaining I don't see much value change in the packs, unless some more legendaries are added to the packs like the legendary summoners. I'm not a fan of this option and hope that they let the prices rise slowly with the decrease amount of Beta Packs remaining.

A call that I made in a previous post saying the Angel of Light should be a good investment card couldn't have been further from the truth. Both the foil and non-foil versions of the card not only have not gone up in price, but have actually gone down in price.

Reward Cards

The reward cards seemed to have found a bottom and are starting to go up in price. My prediction for non-foil Lord Arianthus's to be a value price at or under $1 seems to be correct as the current price for the card is almost $4. My only regret is not purchasing more when they were around the $1 price. I did manage to snap a maxed out card for $12 that is now estimated to be worth $41. Not a bad bang for my buck over a 3 month period.

Once again, if you'd like to see price or number of card changes for a specific card let me know in the comments below and I'll post the graph/table. I'd also be interested to hear about any cards you're watching over the next few months that is going to go up significantly in price because you feel it is so undervalued currently.

Nice to see some positive price movement at least. They certainly have been doing quite a few things over past month or so. Will be interesting to see when the current reward card supply runs out the effect that will have.

I have not been playing to much.

I've been trying to get up to at least gold, but not really doing dailies.

I'm intested to see how reward cards prices behave, because even though you can get them for "free" it does take somewhat of a time investment to get them, where alpha and beta cards you can just buy booster packs.

I'll be interested to see how that time, vs buying pack investement effects prices. I'm beginning to feel that reward card prices over the long term may surprise a few people.
