"steemit for the future, More better" - just add 1 line sponsorship to each page view (with a link) no ads though, they can advertise on their own site. would solve the monitary shortfall in no time.
They will need location & category control info but that can be very easy. So local small mom & pops can sponsor. Like your local tavern for the Rugby Blog. Or your local hair salon for a Glamor blog. Or local junk yard for a scrappers blog

Steemit for the future, More better...More revenue! I've been saying for over two years, Steemit needs advertising. Those who don't want to see the advertising can choose one of the other interfaces. But a small amount of advertising would help fund the infrastructure that Steemit needs to operate. Not a crap load of ads like other sites but a couple ads on the sides would be ok with me

I suspect you chose the topic because of the recent developments at Steemit Inc. I suppose we will get some form of advertising in the future, but hopefully it will be a smart one, for the better indeed.
I read a while back a post debate about this, the idea was that if ads were in the internal ecosystem, then that would work, i.e. posting ads only toward another Steemit post/user.
Not sure how much would that help with fiat revenue though :/

I have invited several people to join steemit and they always tell me the same thing in advance: I think they should improve the appearance of the page. Really for me that's not important, I think less is more, but for some reason, most people like the most intuitive and attractive aspect. I would like that in the future we could publish things and earn a little more, because I do not get $ 1 without having to use a bot and sometimes it does not return what it invests.
I think that in the future there will be more user participation, there must be that motivation that by doing what you love you can have fun, learn more and earn some extra money. I am excited to upload my drawings and see that people value it.
