Steemmonsters Experiment: SE8 Season Rewards - No Complaints!

I just opened the 18 cards I received as a season reward, and I can't complain. This was a very nice pull!

Season 8

Looking back, I must admit season 8 hasn't been so bad at all.
I was lucky and managed to reach Silver 1 on the very last day. As a result, I received 18 extra reward cards. And except for the never-ending stream of Exploding Dwarfs, I have little to complain about. A Gold Foil Wood Nymph, 2 rares and 2 epics... I've seen way worse.

For Sale

Since everyone has only just received his season rewards, I know it won't be easy to sell any reward cards. Still, I listed a couple of them on the market.

I didn't have any issues with parting from the gold foil Wood Nymph, the Exploding Dwarfs or even the Crystal Werewolf, but it did hurt a little when I put the Manticore up for sale. I love the card, but since I have no Dragon Summoner, I can not play it, so there is no use keeping it.

While I was at it, I listed a couple of cards I already had for sale too. The Imp Bowman for example. I know I called the Exploding Dwarf a useless card in one of my previous posts, but I still haven't found a good use for the Imp Bowman either, so I decided to let it go.

• Frozen Soldier Alpha Edition - Level 1 - $0.10

Season 9 Kickoff

With the start of season 9, my account was reset to Silver 3. Initially, I had to complete my DQ with the Life splinter, but although I'm slowly leveling it up, it is still a lot weaker than the other ones.

So I requested a new one and was lucky to get the Water splinter instead. Completing the DQ was a breeze, in spite of the fact that it was clearly bot-time. But no better way to win against the annoying Life bots than using a lot of Magic. I love the Water splinter... :0)

The reward cards I received were okay. The Javelin Thrower made up for the Highland Archer ;0)

Goals

During season 9, I hope to be able to grow my deck a little further by adding some of the missing cards - I really miss Naga Warrior, for example - and maybe level up the Life splinter, although that is definitely not my priority. I have never liked the Life splinter and I never will, so as long as I can avoid playing it it is the least of my problems.

I should really try and free up some more time to take part in giveaways, contests and @steem-bounty posts, and make a habit out of posting daily - I can definitely use the money.
