So yesterday I stumbled upon this post: Introducing @monsuta, a bot that will buy your SM cards .
It's a bot that will automatically buy every SM cards being sent to it as a gift. Monsuta would then take the lowest market price for the card that was sent and will minus $0.03 to calculate the payment. Although right now it's currently unavailable, so don't send any cards to that account yet.
Anyway, I have always wanted to try selling some of my SM cards that I rarely used. And so I've sent this Peaceful Giant card first just to test @monsuta.
And seconds after, Ta-Da! My First Ever Card to become profit! Lol
Although as I was planning to sell off some of my "reward edition" cards that were left unnoticed in the SM market, the @monsuta bot became unavailable. So I guess I will just have to wait for it become active again (probably).
And so after seeing that 0.215 SBD profit, I was tempted to sell more, and tried to sell ALL my "reward edition" cards in the SM market so I could buy some beta cards in exchange. 30minutes to an hour after. I finally sold my first ever SM card! This card: Mushroom Seer! for a good 0.809 STEEM! Not bad! XD
And so, is SteemMonsters worth it? Or is it just a waste of effort and time?
Well let me show you how much I've only spent in this game and have already profited. Back then the Starter Pack was only at $5 and SBD was also around $1.8 so I've only pulled 2.744 SBD to play this game. That's it! Only 2.744
And how much did I profit from today's selling? 6.144 STEEM and 0.524 SBD.
And I still have around $70+ estimated value of all my cards. XD
That is nice to know. Do you know, if you fight and win, does your card increase in value (as in dollars I mean)?

Nope! It does not increase the cards value nor the exp of the card. The only thing that would increase the value of the card is to "combine" it with other same card.
Also, when you win/lose in the match, it will only increase/decrease your "rating". The higher your rating is, the more you are placed in a higher league which by extension more possible card rewards to win. :)

Ohh don't send it today though as it's currently unavailable, but my plan is to sell my reward edition cards to that bot and use the money to buy beta packs. Hopefully my luck continues in pulling gold-foiled cards and rare/epics. XD

Yep! So far I am still into SteemMonsters! :)
It would be really cool though if they can add a single-player quest/campaign mode or anything that would spice more the game

Ohhh yeah I forgot to put it into the post! XD
I bought 1 Fire Summoner Card (Malric Inferno) and 1 Death Summoner Card (Zintar) to level them up to at least level 2, which cost me around 3 Steem, still a profit on my side lol!
I would probably focus more on my Life or Earth cards as this are the decks which I use to climb ranks xD
