I am hooked with @steemmonsters, trying to understand the mechanisms and get better every day. Sometimes it's a bit sad it's a "pay to win" game, but just need to keep hoping to open better cards from the booster packs. : )

This is my second day playing steem monsters and I have mixed feelings so far. I've invested $20 into it so far and I don't plan on dropping anymore real money into it. Hopefully with tournaments, daily quests, etc I'll be able to keep playing.
I've had some success climbing to Silver I but here is where I hit a wall and can't compete. I'm noticing more max level monsters.
It's semi pay to win at the moment. This person for example is around my rating but they had 3 max level monsters and others ranging from 3 to 5.

Ye, it is just like that. I have also invested about 40$and I'm able to reach diamond 2, as rules changes every 2 days, so everyone has chance to apply his strategy and change it with rules and its fun.
