You can invest cards without playing and you don't even need a starter pack to buy cards on the market. My investment idea is for example accumulating lots of creepy oze and hold for at least 1 year. As I'm sure that it's a useful card because it's 1 mana card and it's a neutral card which you can use it with any team. This card is also limited. When all creepy oze cards will be distributed after this l think that price will rise at least 2 x.

Not a bad idea. Another thing you will apparently be able to do soon is delegate cards to other users. So you can basically rent them out without having to sell them. Pretty cool, considering the amount of money myself and others have invested in the cards.
