As I mentioned in my post last night, I was able to get to a level in last season's league where I earned some booster packs for my efforts. 13 packs, in fact. Most of them were unremarkable, but I thought I'd highlight the best ones here.
This pack had a Swamp Thing, which I have never had the privilege of owning, but seems useful. Less so now that Weakness has been weakened, but it was nice to open one nonetheless.
These packs also contained my first neutral cards. Since all of my previously purchased packs were alpha, I didn't have any of the beta-only cards. The Sphinx seems particularly good, as high powered magic users are hard to come by in any splinter except blue.
This was by far the best pack I got, as it contained a gold card and an Enchanted Pixie. The Pixie seems too weak to be useful at level 1, but if I get a few more, I could see a place for her on my team.
I still have yet to open a Legendary in a pack. Also, since most of my cards are alpha, and alphas and betas can't be combined, most of these cards aren't terribly useful to me for playing. I'm still not decided about what to do with them. I might just sit on them for a while and see if they increase in value.
Also, playing Steem Monsters has drained my Resource Credits, so I need to take a break before I start battling this season. Is anyone else having this issue?
