Welcome dear steemians, today I'm going to mention some issues about the game that called my attention in this league, the bots.
I have played since the first season to this game and analised the cards in a serie of articles, in my experience I have played against bots since the beggining of the game and some of the changes done where focused to avoid the bot exploit with the intention of amass in a let's say "inapropiate way" a lot of cards for free, which might be soft words for describe this phenomena.
This last season was an example of that, the format changed in every match, the mana max also and the splinters that where selectable, the idea was to solve the problem that using a simple bot with the same team in every match you could obtain a big amount of cards. The existence of bots it isn't a big problem when they're in inferior leagues. The amount of cards that they were capable to obtain wasn't so big, but now we are seeing teams of lvl1 to 3 in Champions league which is absurd.
It's not like I complaining about them, they're an easy win for everyone with a regular team but are a problem to solve for the developers because they low the card prices as the reward cards are being claimed at a higher rate. They can be necesary to have matches available in some levels but if they are being used with other purposes that could harm the game.
The changes of this season have been nicely done by @yabapmatt in terms of the playability of the game, now every match is more interesting than the initial seasons, but the bots issue hasn't been solved. What are your thoughts about this dear readers. Any idea that could help?.

could you possibly provide some examples of how exactly are they doing that? Because I don't think it is possible with lame team. They can get cards from daily quest once like everyone so what exactyly is the problem?

The bots usually play en masse at certain hours, that way they play with each other frecuently allowing them to go up in the clasification, and with some ordinary players. You can see that they usually play with a list of one splinter which is always the same, only cut by the mana cap (if the mana cap is 18 Silvershield knight-Divine Healer-Peacebringer-Air elemental) If it's lower they cut the Air elemental and so on.
Of course they do get cards like everyone else, except that they don't invest time nor money in it, a bot can play like this all day long and obtain a lot of rewards for their user, if there are more cards because of this the cards will devaluate at a higher rate, because of the absence of scarcity.
And if a bot is capable to go higher in the ranking obviously some regular players go lower, so they have impact also in the clasification of ordinary players, of course there is also a benefit for some players, if you know that the bots are playing, you can go up in ranking by playing at the same time, they are easy rivals.
Anyways, the problem is that isn't very fair to have very interesting profits for only having a program to cheat the system, this game is developed for real players not for an army of bots, and the change done by the SM team in this season was in this direction, I suppose that they might think something similar as I do when they're trying to stop this situation. That's my pov, but I'm interested in reading other opinions, so explain your arguments if you feel comfortable to do it mate!. Cheers and thanks for participating.

Steemmonsters should consider a blacklist for accounts that are obviously abusing the game. I agree that Bots on lower League Level are not problem they even provide overall high battle volume, but Bots at Gold Level should be considered to be banned. What are your thoughts?

I agree completely with that opinion dear @masterthematrix, I'm concerned about the fact that so many cards are being amassed suddently that it's impact in the market is lowering so much the cards prices. And in the other hand it's somehow unfair for the rest of the people that obtain his rewards legally and with his/her efforts and money, for me it's a way of fraud to the community. Cheers.
