Steem Monsters Kickstarter Alpha Packs

By now, if you're a @SteemMonsters player, unless you've been living under a rock, you'd know that the second phase of the Kickstarter/@fundition rewards have dropped and a whole bunch of us are opening a whole bunch of alpha packs.

Now one of the joys having a small child, is their propensity to wake up in the middle of the night, and in doing so, ensure everyone else is awake too.

For me this was fortunate as it meant I was up not long after I got my Kickstarter code.

Once little miss almost 3 was back in bed, I decided I'd open a handful of packs while I wound down to get back to sleep myself.

Lo and behold, this is a screenshot of my very first pack

Yep. That's a Gold Foil Legendary Spirit of the Forest card right there in slot 5. On current market asking price that's comfortably paid for my kickstarter contribution several times over.

I opened a few more packs last night, but then succumbed to the need for slumber.

After everyone was awake and organised this morning, I found myself with a rare few minutes to open some more.

I hit a few handy cards, but the pack that caught my eye was this one...

Yep. Two Gold Foils in one pack. Pretty darn lucky right there I reckon.

Anyway, I still have about half of my packs left to open, so hopefully there's some more sweet, sweet, goodness to come.
