I'm struggling with a lvl4 summoner at Silver I, so if your at Silver II your doing well. I haven't been playing it recently as it now seems a chore.
Drug Wars is much more passive and only requires a few minutes a day and I have almost got back my investment now. How long the midnight rewards can last... who knows?

Lord Arianthus is probably one of my favorite cards ever in Steem Monsters no joke. Pairs with any splinter perfect, like you can find a way to fit it in on all colors. You just can't beat that reflect and taking damage like a beast. The ability to heal it up in White Blue and Green decks really allow you to play around with what you use as the rest of your team. Last game I played just today, a Melee match, I took down a team of six cards with just four cards, having that Lord out front to take the brunt of the damage while everyone else does the main damage from the back.
I had no clue people were burning cards, that so sad, give them away or something to completely new users! Like there could be a thread on Reddit that says "Want A Free Steem Monsters Card to See What it's All About?" and just say the only way to get it is to obviously have a Steemit it account, double check in PeakMonsters that the account doesn't already have cards, bam, new people to play against!

I really didn't think he was any good before. I know he gets thorns at higher levels, but I'm not spending much on cards for now. I'm liking that I win a few more battles and the Life bots are wondering what happened. They can still beat me sometimes.
I know of people giving away cards, so I'll get some from them. Maybe destroying a few will drive up values, but it's all just playing around really.

Yes, Silvershield Paladin approach is the most common one. I noticed this too. my way to battle it was to upgrade my Silvershield Paladin to level 4 :)
Life splinter is just too powerful as a team and it's hard to complete the quests with other splinters... OK, Earth splinter is good enough, at least in my collection.
Ps: no DrugWars for me, ever! I don't any drugs and weapons in my life in any form. Period!

Well this strategy can beat them. It's fun watching them trying to kill Arianthus and making no impact. I wonder if they will adapt.

Yes, the Arianthus strategy works with high(er) mana battles. Another possible approach is using Exploding Dwarf in the front. It's fun and risky :)

I saw that post too and it has been very helpful. The hardest thing I have found is knowing if you are facing a bot or not. Sometimes it is obvious, but others not so much. Great work on your rewards. That Manticore is nice in the Dragon splinter.

It definitely helped me and I won some battles I would normally have lost. Some were still close. It keeps the game interesting for me
