Last night, I competed in a Steem Monsters Tournament called Bronze Blunderbuss, and I finished 3rd.

Congrats to @gfriend96 and @leyargoz for there 1st and 2nd place finishes.

My prize was 6 Steem (about 3 dollars at the current Steem price), and was I tied to my computer screen for over an hour. I enjoy battling, but this tournament was longer than the last one I was involved in. (FYI, the more players that participate the longer it takes to complete a tournament.)

Can you earn with Steem Monsters?

The simple answer is yes. At present, I will not personally be able to make a full time living off of Steem Monsters, but I can see other people being able to create a small income flow. Of course, playing tournaments is being paid for time and skill. But if you don't win, then you don't earn

If Steem Monsters allows a user to rent out their deck, then someone could earn a passive income without even playing in tournaments.

I will keep playing for fun, and if I learn a little on the side, then all the better.
