Snapchat-1620295.jpgAFRICAN WOMAN! REMEMBER THY ROOT

Woman, remember thy roots. The world has come to take all that belong to u away from you. They now call it feminism. Who are these people to define your worth? They are the greatest monster of the century. The oyinbo woman have lost it all, now she wants to take what's left of ur identity.
These oyinbo with their western mentality. First they took your pride and dignity by teaching you new ways of dressing , you abandoned ur way of life, your culture, u now dress half naked. Nudity is now beautiful. They told you lies, they said as long you are comfortable, is OK. They have taken away your moral thermostat.
Next, they told you to hate your body, that it is no longer beautiful if u don't look lean and skinny. They told you to bleach your skin and hair and you did. To do this, they use popular culture social media to throw images of hungry and sick looking models at you. They preached it till you accepted it. Finally, to be thick is ugly. To be dark skinned is a sin. You have internalized it.

They have told you that everything foreign is better. They told you divorce is the first item on the table when your relationship hit the rocks. They have carefully eroded your crisis management skills, all of a sudden you forgot that u own the house. They made u loose your worth, dignity and prestige. U don't even know how powerful you are anymore.

Let me educate you woman, the oyinbo woman envy you. She wonders why u don't crack, she wonders why you are so thick, she wonders why you grow old with your man. She wonders why you don't care about stretch marks or saggy breasts as u suckle you child. She is fascinated about how beautiful you feel with your deep pigment of melanin.

Now look what she made u copy. Are you happier now? Your divorce rate has caught up with hers. Are you happier now? You no longer breast fed your babies so you can maintain your "shape" and keep your bodies stretch mark free. Are you happier now? Nudity is now attractive and well dressed women are ugly. Are you happier now.?

Oh you think she's done?
No! She just launched another campaign with another name : feminism, not the exact meaning of what the word itself entails. But a more sinister version she sold to u, the one you have adopted, the one u have twisted. This is the new movement by the African woman. The one that seek to destroy the remaining institution of the African culture-the family and home. The oyinbo woman won't stop pursuing this cause until the last fabric of our society falls. she would not rest until we wake up to chaos, confusion and total capitulation.

Cooking for your husband now makes you a MAID.
Cleaning the house now makes you a SLAVE.
Earning an income now means you shouldn't submit to your house ur husband .

But wait a minute, who are these oyinbo women that now teach u how to think and act.? Why do you allow them tell you African women are backwards. Why didn't you tell them who u really are. Let them have a little taste of your history.
Before the oyinbo woman was allowed to vote, you all having been agitating and fighting for your rights since the beginning of the last century. Let them ask about Aba women of 1929.
Before this generation of feminist came up, Chief Mrs ransome-kuti has been emancipating woman.
Before any one of these oyinbo could stand up to a man, queen Amina was leading men into battle hundreds of years ago.

Remember how you were tepid sponging your sick child with fever even before any antibiotics or analgesics was discovered. Remember when they carried you away to the strange land? You thought them how to spice up their meat. You taught them how to rock a crying child with colic to sleep.
You see for yourself, you were never backwards. You were the mother of civilization, u carried civilization in your pouch and birthed it for her to see. They are only stripping your identity away making you think that you can only fit in if you act like oyinbo. They make you think if you don't copy the foreign life style, u are primitive. I understand with you. I lie when told too frequently and too long becomes truth.

And why will earning money make you disrespect your man.??
Have you forgotten that throughout the ages, you were never an idle woman? Oh, you forgot so soon that while your husbands plant yam(an annual crop) you also had your farms and garden were u plant cocoyam, fruits, nuts, vegetables and other crop for year in supply to your homes...And when his yams are sold out and the yam seedlings planted, u were able to sustained the home till the next harvest season. Did you disrespect him then ? Why start now? U were such an industrious woman.

See what the product of your lost identity has brought you. Pain and sorrow. Your teenage sons are now addicts, your teenage daughters are now occupied with lust and vain pursuits. Your husbands are shattered and empty men. The society is now in despair. As for you, there is never a time in recorded history when the African woman has been this confused, unhappy and uncertain.
Woman please know thy worth. Remember how a stern look at your child sends chills down their spine, that was how u kept them from falling out of control.
Remember how your husbands would pace back and forth in joyful anticipation as he waits to devour your delicious pot of soup, this was when you had power over him. But your carelessness has let him gone rogue.

why have you forgotten how powerful you are. You now allow another woman without a culture or heritage destroy yours.?
Have you forgotten so soon how mandatory it is for a man to align himself with you in marriage if he is to be allowed to acquire titles or sit with other men when state matters are being discuss?
African women, you need to rediscover yourselves. You have drifted so far away you need to go back to your roots.. You need your power back.
You need to revive your identity .And remember nobody but you alone can free yourself from this mental slavery .
