When I tell people that I have a very strict zero tolerance for catastrophe (yawa, katakata, gidigidi, gragra, kasala....) they think am exaggerating, probably because I always emphasize this with all the yoruba-ish body and facial expressions I can pull. (I love Yoruba people)
Just the other day, I was expressing this point to some folks and they strongly advised that "I nor suppose to dey run for everything" "sometimes it's good to know whatsup first" one just concluded I was a coward.
I was sincerely not seeing their point. I am not iron man or doctor strange hello!
In fact, before I will even hear "wey you! Holam! You go see today, people running, slaps, bottles or blows, I am looking for the nearest fleeing exit to my village in Nkanu East local government area in Enugu State.
I cannot even stand to entertain myself with a mere compound quarrel because I am a terrible shouter and I also do not possess the Egbe wagedness to wage fight.
Especially in a beautiful place like
Warri where some people have amazing bottle disposal habits.
Biko, It is not me that the evil ones will use as a scape goat.
I guess my point is we should learn to try to know how to flee from unsafe situations and places.
