Updated: Here's an explanation since there were some question marks. The following is the Wikipedia entry on the Renaissance:-

The Renaissance was a cultural movement that profoundly affected European intellectual life in the early modern period. Beginning in Italy, and spreading to the rest of Europe by the 16th century, its influence was felt in literature, philosophy, art, music, politics, science, religion, and other aspects of intellectual inquiry. Renaissance scholars employed the humanist method in study, and searched for realism and human emotion in art

Steemit is quite like the Renaissance for the new age as it empowers everyone to experience and continue pursuing self-actualization in a virtual, hyper-connected space. On Steemit, we're all at the forefront of resource distribution with our everyday votes and discussions. It's like we're always gathered in the town hall, sometimes arguing and even knocking heads (mostly to protect the network). That's healthy because differences are being worked out, and at least it's not like we're in physical space beating each other up like Taiwanese politicians lol.

It's all very entertaining to me, and beautiful too.

Best golden ratio rationalization I've seen yet.

Lol I actually took 2 hours to try to capture the spirit.. and then I remember writing about Steemit as the renaissance age for social media, and remember this little fight in the Ukrainian parliament that has been golden ratioed..

May be I am stupid. But I don't uderstand this post. What do you mean?

I don't get it too but I guess telling these guys whom I presume at some government meeting to stop getting rough.

We're all at the forefront of resource distribution with our everyday votes and discussions. It's like we're always gathered in a parliamentary building, sometimes even arguing. And that's healthy because differences are being worked out, and at least it's not like we're in physical space beating each other up like Taiwanese politicians LOL. Although I studied about it yesterday and there are claims saying that Taiwanese brawls in parliamentary halls are all staged..

Staged? Like wrestling? OMG, wonder why would they do that.

There are a few claims online.. it's basically like the silliness in the american presidential race, except amplified through fights.. so to sway the sentiment / votes given out by the public..

For the record, all of my online brawls are staged. ;)

This ... lol. Nice.

Lol thanks. Just another good day on Steemit :p

Good one!
