Last week's round got a late start, and I apologize for those whose entries came in too late. This round we'll have extra time since I won't be on live for 2 weeks.
This round's topic:
HYMNS OF HATRED
In DEI, we call Hatred "the profound mirror." Hatred is deeply connected to the Shadow, which is a term that Carl Jung introduced to represent the unconscious and suppressed parts of our psyche and personality. Some say, "you hate most in others what you don't like about yourself." This is an example of how hatred really works. When you hate something, it is touching something deep within you that you are not fully aware of. It's a fascinating topic and a lot of growth can come from working with your Hatred and the insights it brings. However, it is a journey not to be taken lightly!

There it is! If you have any questions, let me know.
Winners from last week's Feelings of Fear round were as follows:
@tigerlily321's lovely art piece shows a woman and her fear. I chose this because I liked the picture, but also because it was a simple acknowledgement of the things bringing up fear for her. She wins first prize with $6 SBD
@carmalain7 's Horror Vacui poem is read aloud by himself and is a pleasure to listen to. As usual, his poem is rich with imagery and depth and I'm sure there's much I'm missing in it. I loved his reading of this poem, but also, I found myself having to be in that intuitive, alert, and attention-focused state of free-flowing fear while I was listening and trying to glean the meaning and nuance. He wins 2nd prize with $4 SBD
I'd also like to give a great shoutout THANK YOU! to the rest of the great entries who participated in this round. I'm giving each of them $1 SBD to show my appreciation. Please check out their posts!
@mitchelljaworski's Fear Outweighs is a thought-provoking little poem on how avoiding fear is often our strongest motivation.
@jonmagnusson submitted a lovely song. To me it represented more sadness and a bit of hope/happiness, but that is my interpretation.
@camporr has an intense short story that is a good representation of panic.
@atomcollector's song seems like it might fit for next round's topic on hatred. Listen here.
@theturtleproject submitted a great song about severe paranoia.

This is definitely an interesting take on giving a prompt... Hymns of Hatred... will have to think about this. But will share this contest with the people over at @thewritersblock, as I'm sure they will find this as inspiring a topic as I do.
