Putting Together Comics Lego Sets with my Kids

in steemparents •  6 years ago

My son had a brief period where he was into Legos. He assembled and disassembled his sets many times. He has since decided it's not really his thing, so I thought I'd see about selling some of his sets. In order to sell them, I need to put them together to make sure we have all the pieces. That process began this weekend.

Once I started working on it, both my kids became interested, so we 3 all worked on it together. We didn't have a lot of time to devote to it, but we got a couple sets done.

This pile contains 2 sets. A Batcopter and Riddler's dragster

Riddler's dragster completed. Riddler is nowhere to be found. He must have escaped.

The thing is, we had such fun putting them together, I'm not sure I should sell them.

Dont sell them!

Never sell legos! 😂☺️ Well... unopened ones can sell for a lot, but legos are so great. It’s like the one toy that usually retains its coolness.

These are some of those timeless toys that would be fun for future grandchildren too when they visit 😉 Legos are timeless and have a real "cool" factor.

If there is any capacity for you to bag them up into their sets and store them, then I highly recommend it. Even if your son never comes back to enjoying Lego, his children might, and to be able to pull out some vintage sets to build different to whatever is on the market at the time will be am awesome experience.
