It was kind of windy afternoon while the crickets starting to scream loudly in the background, the kids run to catch the wind. One held the nylon roll and the other kid carried the kite to a distance. They both whistled and funny that the wind blowed and came after. They signal each other when it was time to let the kite flew. It should be with the right amount of wind and also its direction.
They successfully launched first kite, and its dancing in the sky trying to ride the wind. They would sit and wait while pulling the nylon rope that attached to it if needed. They usually put a strip on the kite to produce sounds when it is up. The sounds we hear every windy night, same like the chainsaws, but not that loud.
If the wind stop to blow up there, the kite would fall and the kids should tighten the rope as fast as they could. If not then the kite would end up in the tree branches.
Unfortunately, Janjan did not able to save the poor kite that was abandoned by the wind. It was snagged by the coconut leaves. It was so high. It would be impossible to be able to get it from there. He cut the nylon and let the kite hanged in there. Better luck next time Janjan! He would make another one the next day anyway. 😊
