Alimyon - The Restaurant and Cofee shop in the middle of nowhere

Last week my girlfriend asked me to visit the place they called alimion, i wasnt familiar with that place and even the name itself. It was 30 minutes from the city and Alimyon is located at San Jose Janay2x Negros Oriental, just before the famous tein lake.

Foods and Drinks are affordable and Delicious.

Local foods and delecacies are available in there, including boiled banana and bagoong.

I read several post about the place,they said that this is very interesting and relaxing place in the middle of no where. Literally a restaurant and a cofee shop away from the city with only 2 or 3 houses are there.

We spent time with my girlfriend @steemit-again to locate and visit the place. It was our first time to explore the area, its kind of elevated place but accessible with cars or motorcycle.

A relaxing and stress free place. Cofee and foods are affordable and delicious.

After 30 minutes we finally arrived, but where is the cofee shop and restaurant? There was inly a trees, coconuts and bamboos are there. There was a small stairs made of rocks going up and we found the only house on the top of the mountain.

The house is made of bamboo and wood and roof is cobered with nipa. It is really a local style of restaurant. When it comes to cofee, you can only have a cofee made of corn,rice and pure cofee beans. No latte,mocha and etc. It is all made for locals.

You can see nothing but a green green color of trees,coconuts and bamboo. But you know what, people are going there every day. When we visited the place, there travelers from somewhere else and most of them are not from that area.

How to get there?

From dumaguete city, you to have to travel going to san Jose, The next municipality after Sibulan.You have to detour at the road going to tein lake. It is popular place and tourist spots. From the high way it took 20 minutes riding vehicle going there. Once you get into Janay2x, you can find the bill board that names Alimyon, at the left side of the road. There few houses in there but you have to ask if where it is located.
