National Day of Protest is a holiday for me!

I just find it quirky how the president of the Philippines declared this week's Thursday as a National Protest Day but not a holiday. In my 24 years of existence, it was my first time to hear such thing coming from the head of state and government. Para bang, I can declare it. Why not naman di ba? Nonetheless, I am thankful for PRRD's decision because I had a day with my mom and aunt.

A short briefer: I am one of the youngest from our batch (on my mom's side) so basically I am the most spoiled niece and child. Yes, uso pa naman ang favoritism. Pero striktong patnubay, mga magulang wag nating gayahin.

Whenever there are short trips and food trips, my aunt Jean would message me over Facebook to go and hang out with her at a restaurant or a restaurant at a mall. 😂

So yeah, the financers (my mom and aunt) decided to mall hop after a nice lunch near Pueblo Office. It was a nice place though although I do not have photos of it. Well, I just find it weird that people are taking their meals and I on the corner is busy taking selfies. Hahaha!

We then met at SM uptown and bought some taho (soya with sago and some other sweeteners). I could not afford to buy one whenever I see one, no wonder I am still not loosing any pound.

It is so funny because my mom just left our car at SM before deciding to go to SM downtown. We have a car but most of the time we decide to commute because the traffic condition in the city is not good.

After SM Uptown, we decided to have a stop at Ayala Centrio. We ate some ice cream and some other delicacies.

I had also been eyeing on some succulents and cactus. By the way, because I am homesteadying,I have my own garden at home .

It is evident that in malls, Christmas time is near. Basically, SM has grand decorations and used lots of Christmas lights. The cool breeze from the cooling system is adding an effect. But seriously, I prefer SM Seaside in Cebu because I find it more sophisticated.

I also love visiting the malls during fashion events, just like last Thursday. You see, I am really a sucker of art on whatever form it has. I wish to make my own gowns in the future kasi oo ang kuripot ko talaga.

I also like malls nowadays especially SM malls because they provide a venue for leisure. As you can see on the photo, a lot of kids are enjoying. But I suggest for the management to have a spacious area for kids to play and tighten the security as well to avoid unnecessary but stressful events.

Malling would never be complete without food! I got to eat a lot of cakes. Nguya ka ng nguya talaga Gail. Hahaha!Next time hangin na kakainin ko, wala nakong pake kung kabagin basta ayoko ng tumaba. Ang bigat ko na masyado promise.

And upon heading uptown, kasi uptown girl talaga ako promise (for short taga bundok ako), I had good snacks at Bigby's. Well, if you plan to visit Cagayan de Oro for awhile, you can try Bigby's and other restaurants. The price range is only 100 -300Php and the servings are reallt extravagant.

As someone who is homesteadying, as you can observe, I only go out only when I want to eat outside. Maybe, I really got used to being a home buddy. The same thing goes whenever I travel for conferences and seminars, I prefer to stay in my room instead of going to places
