Prayers Answered

The face of an angel and the brown thin hair,
Your Papa and Mama, can't help but stare.
Your little cries that are music to our ears,
And those giggles oh darling, we always want to hear!

Cute dimpled cheeks, so precious to see,
Smell so sweet, my heart is filled with glee!
Want to cuddle you for the rest of the day,
Just to make sure you are safe, to God we pray.

Thank you, Lord, for the miracle of heaven!
And to this precious one that You have given.
I sought Your kingdom for so long a while,
And our prayers were answered, a little angel with his beautiful smile.
