Roaming around the campus,
Busy sidewalks, students are on the loose.
Shouts are everywhere,
Yells and cheers are on the air.
Different food stalls are around,
Different colors could be found.
Excitement and enthusiasm can be seen,
In their faces and where they should have been.
Oh! What a lovely day it could be,
To those students who are celebrating freely.
But there's this one girl always walking around,
Despite the craze, she feels down.
Silent cries, she hears,
She sees invisible tears.
Faking smiles they've thrown,
Deep inside, they aren't happy as they've shown.
Walking around the campus,
Observing students on the loose.
Feeling down and nowhere in place,
All she ever sees are empty hallways.
