Good morning to my fellow Steemians and it has been quite a while since i last posted. But the good thing is that i am back folks. How was your weekend and i hope that it was certainly blissfull. And here i am welcoming the sunrise with some stretching before doing some brisk-walking. Taking my pill of good health can certainly bring me a long way. It can do the same for ya old blokes as well if i may say so.
There is a no better way to greet everybody a good Monday morning but to bring you guys back to the good ole favorite venue of mine where we can share some healthy experiences and what an experience this was when i tried to join up and participated with the Zumba exercise group that normally take their scheduled dance workout from 5:30 - 7:00 am here at the C-6 roadside open lot. And their schedule runs from thoughout Monday - Sunday.
At times i would kinda like remember the earlier days when it was only Aerobics that took centerstage on all of these workouts which would require basic movements, that is, when you find it boring to go to the gym or do just basic running, most likely what one would consider doing is to take Aerobic classes where you can indulge your ears, mind and spirit with music which makes the endeavor more interesting and exercise becoming highly un-noticed.
Well, let me get back to what i was telling you about the Zumba session that i participated nearby my place. It was truly enjoyable and fun, i had some laughs as well with the other guys in the group. Talking about Zumba which i think is better when it took over the trend of exercise using dance movements, unlike Aerobics, Zumba is much more modern and for me is more free flow and exciting as well. Although both categories of movements (Aerobics and Zumba) are undertaken by most to burn calories and those unwanted fats. For both types of exercises based on studies; for 1 hour can burn up to 600 - 800 hundred calories, that is if i can keep myself moving that long a time, hahaha.
But if i were to decide and give out a verdict, i would go for Zumba. It is definitely more entertaining and i get to learn some basic dance moves coming out from Latin-American origins.
Just a fair warning to some of those out there who has the so called two left-feet. It might become frustrating but of course persistance can always do the trick or if not, you can consider just sticking it out with the basic running, brisk walking, go to the gym or if not AEROBICS.
Well folks, i just hope that you like it although it makes me kinda sound like a broken record when i talk about exercise, but just bear in mind, that it is only a soft reminder that although you might think that you are still young and you feel that you are on the top of the world, you will never know, that one day that you may wake up in the morning and as you look at the mirror and you will be noticing some of those wrinkles here and there, and it suddenly hits you and you might utter the words.....how time flies!
