How to make vegan Mango-Papaya Pudding

in steemph •  7 years ago  (edited)

Hello everyone! I'll be showcasing some of the food products that we lately showed during the holidays of our program on Hope Channel South Philippines last year.

So far this was my favorite (apart from the pizza). The main ingredient was the papaya, one of the most common fruit that can be seen and can grow anywhere-anytime in Philippines. Next to banana I think this is one of the greatest fiber source. And best when it's hot like in a tropical country!

So, let's make this!

Ingredients:
Papaya
Mango
Bananas
Gelatin sticks- Agar agar
Cashew nuts
Soy milk

Procedure:

  1. Chop fruits into cubes. Chill.
  2. Blend cashew nuts with soymilk and a little water to make the mixture’s consistency like milk.
  3. Dissolve agar-agar sticks according to package directions in the milk mixture.
  4. Pour agar milk mixture into gelatin mold and quickly stir in the chilled fruits. Note: be quick or else the mixture might set quickly and not take the form of the mold nicely.
  5. Chill the mixture.

@sn0white, sure! I'd be excited to see you try it :D Our crew finished this in less than 10 minutes after the taping.

I want to taste this! Mixing Papaya and Mango is a new thing. Is this available to any restaurants or cafes in Cebu?
