I don't know, from trading for a long time at yobit i've seen so many devs generally get dumpy during an ath, and supply count is also critical for wanting high speculation value regardless of how good a project is.
Steemit definitely added back a plus with a lot of the funds being locked in term deposits, and i've seen many other devs with good ideas or valuable brands but they just set the coin supply orders of magnitude too high and it'd always choke out the system in the long run. I'd say for any coin expecting higher values past 100 sat stable, with a coin supply of 8 million-20 million max you could never go wrong.
