Over Packaging 过度包装

今天公司的机台有零件坏了，所以得要更换某个感应器Sensor 。

Today one of the machines was down pending for a sensor change.

这也只不过是个简易的反应器，它只是读取0或1而已，就是有还是没有。是放在机器的robot ，看robot 的位置到位还是没到位。

The sensor needed was just a simple sensor, to sense 0 and 1- Present or not present, which we need it in the machine mechanical robot to sense the movement.

作了仓库预订，就会有人送到桌上。当我回到桌面，看到了这一盒盒的零件包，感到很奇怪，这是什么啊？最近没买什么东西啊！

After making part withdrawal reservation from the store, logistic person sent to my table with this big box, I was wondering what part was this, as I did not recall i made order for such size item.

打开包装才知道那是我早上预订的感应器，大家看一看这拆包过程：

Unwrap the packaging then learnt this is the sensor I requested in the morning, let's see the unwrapping process:

我只是要这一个小小的感应器，零件包装却是那么劳师动众、一层又一层的。这未免过度包装了？

All I wanted was just a small sensor , but its packaging was so complicated and big in size, isn't it over-packaging?

就好像我们生活中其他食品包装一样，现在都流行个别包装了，好比吃紫菜，一片紫菜一个包装，丢弃的塑料包装比吃进肚子的紫菜还要多。

It's similar to other packaging in our daily life, where you get to see individual packed for instance , seaweed. Plastic wrapping of seaweed is so much more than seaweed itself. Sometime I just wondered am I buying the plastic bag or the seaweed?

实在有点本末倒置。
