Christianity's impact on the world has been massive. It's caused the extinction of slavery, the improved treatment of orphans and women. The west, with it's foundation of a Christian worldview, is a much better place than parts of the world that are without it. Like Africa and Asia for example.

I agree. Although, this article is dealing with the modern institutional church and not the Church through history.
