Recently I made the switch to my personal domain and blog. This is a big step for me and it is very rewarding to see my blog grow as more people are tuning in to read my stories. I have been an active user of Steemit for a while now. I didn't want to leave this platform and community behind.
Luckily there is an amazing plugin called "steempress". Steempress will automatically crosspost between my blog and steemit. This means that any article I write on my blog will also be shared automatically to Steemit. This is perfect for me. I can now schedule my posts on my blog to the ideal posting time and automatically send it to Steemit a few hours later. I can also schedule a full week of posts and not have to go online and manually post them. It's very freeing.
This does comes with some issues. I want to apologize to my fans and the community for any inconvenience. My first posts showed up on Steemit without working pictures. This issue has now been fixed and all the images in my posts are fully working :)
Now I stumbled on an even worse and annoying issue for both you and me. All my articles gets posted to Steemit twice with a 10 minute delay! The way the blockchain works, I cannot delete the double post. I don't want to spam anyone. The problem started when I switched to the new Gutenberg editor on WordPress.
Does anyone know how I can solve this problem?
