达鲁被迫押送一阿拉伯人，一昼夜的相处过程中,始终用自己人道主义对待这名罪犯。

达鲁指两条路给阿拉伯人，东方警局，南方自由。

达鲁和罪犯都在自己的两难处境中,在身不由己的情况下,进行了自由选择,并承担了自己行为所带来的后果。

存在主义作为一个哲学范畴,其主张存在先于本质,揭露世界的荒谬和人的孤独,重视个人的行为选择。
