Me: As a window-seater

in steempress •  6 years ago

Since childhood till yet,
From innocence to maturity,
Window-seat remained my constant love.
Sometimes it entertained me, sometimes taught,
But sometimes helped me to fade in the world of imaginations.
.
.
Though, it was not always available for me,
Sometimes it was the game of luck,
Or sometimes conquering it through bus stands.
.
.
The journeys are like cycle of life,
As the bus starts slowly,
The vision of outside changes.
Compelling me to relate with the situations,
that never remains constant.
The cool gentle breeze starts blowing,
Kissing the skin, piercing into hairs.
Pleasing the caged soul, forcing it to flutter in freedom.
.
.
Every journey introduces new faces.
Some that are never seen again,
But some turning into familiar strangers.
.
.
The localities it crosses, are mixed in nature.
Some of the poor-middle class,
Some of the upper, named as posh.
Depicting a grim picture of 'human inequality'.
Some paths jam-packed, combined with crowd & noise,
Some remaining always smooth & tidy.
.
.
The gentle melodious song,
Gushing into eardrums & penetrating deep inside the soul,
When mixes with breeze, provides an eternal bliss.
.
.
As the bus moves on,
The familiar paths regain old memories.
Taking down the memory lane of old days.
Remembering either some incidents or people.
& End up badly missing it.
.
.
Journeys are unpredictable as mood,
Sometimes makes u feel boring & end-less,
But sometimes end up so soon making u feel incomplete.
.
.
Yes of course, everything has pros & cons,
So do window-seats too.
Spoiling the journey, turning it extremely uncomfortable,
While stifling sunshine or irritating raindrops,
Leaning inside, saying you 'hello'.
.
.
Still in the end,
It teaches important lessons that 'no-body stays, everyone has to get down',
Improving our views & concept towards life.
