Mainframe Partners with Telefónica’s Innovation Arm
The fully encrypted platform partners with telecommunications giant to provide decentralized applications
Salt Lake City, Utah, October 2, 2018 — Mainframe — the blockchain startup behind the platform for building unstoppable decentralized applications — announced a partnership with Telefónica (NYSE: TEF), one of the largest Spanish multinational broadband providers. The joint initiative with Telefónica’s innovation arm, known as Wayra, will give Mainframe unique access to the company’s global base of enterprises, affiliates, and 300 million customers. In collaboration with Telefónica’s innovation arm, Mainframe will explore solutions for greater data security, user privacy, and digital freedom in the telecommunications industry.
